Modern life has seen the role of the garage change from just being for simple vehicle storage to an extension of the home. Garages often serve as secondary entrances into a mews-style property. In many cases, the garage may even have been adapted into an additional room with internal access, not unlike your lounge or kitchen.
It’s not uncommon for homeowners to arrive home, open their garage doors, and enter the home via this route. While outside playing, children might be told to use the garage when returning with their bikes, footballs, or other toys so as not to traipse dirt into the house. Traditionally, if you wanted to use your garage for the above purposes, it would mean having to open the main garage doors each time.
Even where an alternative entrance was present, these entrances weren’t always viable given their position and the presence of obstacles in the way. When it comes to handling bikes, lawnmowers, BBQs, etc., we usually take the easy way in.
This is where our pass doors come in – they can be fitted either next to or integrated into your customers’ garage doors. Here, they provide a convenient point of entry that is far easier, quicker, and simpler than opening and closing the main garage doors.
