Steel Hinged Doors and Frames

Commercial construction places a wide range of demands on burglary protection. This also applies to oversized doors. Novoferm already offers solutions for this, but has now completed its portfolio.

This means that RC 2 burglary protection is now also available for:

• Premio EI 60 and EI 90 GE oversizes up to 3,000 x 3,000 mm
• All available door models also in combination with anti panic locks

Until now, only monolithic glass was available for glazing in exterior fire hinged doors, which is not suitable for installation areas with thermal insulation requirements.

Novoferm‘s fire-resistant insulating glass provides a remedy here:

• Tested safety in fire protection classes EI 30 and EI 60
• Particularly suitable for Premio fire-resistant exterior hinged doors in installation areas with thermal insulation requirements
• Effectively prevent condensation

With a special pre-punched corner frame, Premio EI 30 elements can now also be installed in steel beams/ steel columns cladded with at least F60/ EI 60 classifi ed systems.

Available for CS (= coordinating sizes):

• 1-leaf up to 1,375 x 2,500 mm and
• 2-leafes up to 2,500 x 2,500 mm

Novoferm is expanding its range of wall flaps to include products with the smallest dimensions from 500 mm.

Such smallest wall flap formats are suitable, among other things, for use as niche-, inspection- and maintenance flaps and are now also available as EI 30 and EI 90 in Premio design.

If the grids are exposed to fire, they expand under the effect of heat and prevent flames, smoke and gases from spreading from room to room.

Example applications include ventilation for interior fire doors, e.g. for interior transformer rooms in underground garages.

The low-priced and reliable sliding rail door closer NFGS 58 for standard doors up to 1,250 mm replaces the NFGS 55. The door closer is as well certified for fire and smoke proof hinged doors.

Compared to the predecessor model, it scores with:

The high-quality Novoferm opening limiter provides controlled support for the opening function from approx. 75 ° opening by means of an integrated gas pressure spring and fixes reliably the opened door in position.

It is suitable for all frame variants (Novoferm steel frames, wooden frames on site or frameless with Novoferm gypsum reveal), can be combined with glass or wooden door panels provided by the customer, has double damping as standard and impresses with these transport advantages:
